Hi, I’m Annie, founder of Simply Coconuts.
Back in 2015, I was pregnant with my son, Luca, and doing what first-time mums do best: overthinking absolutely everything.
Which car seat was safest? Which pram should I buy? Did I need a Moses basket and a cot? How many bottles? Which nappies? What even was a muslin for?
At the same time, my ever-growing bump had me searching for something simple and natural to moisturise my own skin. That’s when coconut oil first came onto my radar.
But then my thoughts turned to Luca.

I’d spent months researching everything else I’d buy for him, yet I’d barely thought about what I’d be putting on his delicate skin every single day.
When I picked up baby skincare products and turned them over, I found long ingredient lists full of names I couldn’t pronounce, let alone recognise.
It didn’t feel right.
I wanted something simple. Something natural. Something where I could turn the pot over and know exactly what was inside.
Then I found it.
Coconut oil.

It was everything I’d been searching for.
And that’s how Simply Coconuts was born.
Life took us in a different direction for a while, and Simply Coconuts took a little break too. But I never stopped believing in the idea behind it.
Now, more than ten years after filling that very first pot and with Luca considerably bigger than he was back then, Simply Coconuts is back, with the same belief at its heart:
Baby skincare shouldn’t be complicated.
Because when you’ve already got enough to think about, what’s inside the pot shouldn’t be one of them.
